DispelAnnouncer is a simple weakaura that announces everytime you or your pet dispel a magic effect from an enemy. The announcement message will contain a spell link to the dispelled magic effect as well as the name of the target that was dispelled.
How to change the announcement channel, type, etc.?:
- Within the "Custom Options" tab you can select where to announce the dispel (Personal, Say, Party and Raid. As well as whispering target, focus target or a specific person). To whisper a specific person simply put in the the name in the empty field and click "okay".
Does it work with mouseover macro?:
- Yes. Since the weakaura gathers the data from combat log events these kind of macros will also trigger an announcement.
Why does the "say" channel not work properly?:
- Due to restrictions on the API the weakaura is only permitted to send chat messeges in "say" within instances.
How do I blacklist certain spells?:
- Within the Actions tab under the On Init custom code you'll find a list of blacklisted spells where you can add spells from their spellids in the form [spellId] = true.
