DoT Snapshot Tracker

What does it do?
This WeakAura shows how recasting a dot would affect its snapshot. It doesn't show up without the talents that allow longterm snapshotting: Pandemic (warlocks), Shadowform (priests), and Chimera Shot (hunters).

Why is this important?
Sometimes recasting a DoT that's already on a target can result in higher damage. Determining if this will be worthwhile is a function of many things, including buffs/debuffs, talents, set effects, crit chance, meta gem, target level, target health, etc.

How do I read it?
Three values are displayed when targeting an enemy: the expected value of a tick for your current DoT on the target, the expected value of a tick if you were to recast now, and then the relative difference between the two. These values are displayed as percentages. A value of 100% means the DoT is expected to do baseline damage. 150% means your dot will do 50% more than its base amount. This could be because of buffs/debuffs you have, talents, your crit chance (if the DoT can crit), etc.

It would be difficult to list every effect that this WeakAura tracks. It accounts for every buff/debuff (that I'm aware of) which modify the player's damage, and how they stack. It knows every relevant talent and set bonus. It knows your execute threshold. It checks your actual crit chance against debuffed enemies. It factors in weapon enchantments (spellstone). It accounts for lesser known effects, such as crit suppression (your crit chance is reduced against higher level enemies). It knows if you're tracking the correct enemy type as a hunter with Improved Tracking. It correctly calculates the value of your crit when modified by effects that increase crit damage such as meta gems (it's not a mistake, the Hodir storm buff actually causes most casters to deal ~620% crit damage because of SPOOKY MATH).
