Serpent Sting Snapshot Group
This is a little group I made to track the percent damage modifier snapshotted with Serpent Sting.Attack power snapshots in Serpent Sting are lost when you refresh SS with Chimera Shot, but any percent damage modifier that you had when you first cast the sting (ex. Culling the Herd or Aspect of the Viper) are PRESERVED.The bottom number shows your active damage modifer and the upper number is the snapshot in the Serpent Sting on your target.The numbers are colour coded based on the percent:
White: The damage mod is the same as your baseline (any talents + persisent raid buffs)
Red: The damage mod is LOWER than your baseline
Green: The damage mod is HIGHER than your baseline
Blue (bottom only):Your current modifier is HIGHER than the snapshot in your current Serpent Sting
Note that it's generally not a DPS gain to re-cast SS just for a slightly higher snapshot.It's probably only worth it if you get a significant buff like Hysteria or some boss mechanic buff.
